To achieve our goals, CMSEOK has come up with several distinct programs, to enable it effectively serve its members. These Programs include:
1. Legal aid program:
Under this program, we offer legal to support or help to our members – individual micro and small enterprise owners, most of whom can’t afford the services of a lawyer, whenever they’re arrested or find themselves in need of legal services or in trouble with county/local authorities.
2. Advocacy Program:
This program seeks to help bring or champion the formulation or development of business policies and trade regulations that are FAVOURABLE or conducive to micro and small enterprises by both the county and national government.
3. Governance program:
Under this program, we build the capacity of the groups and Associations under our wings, to help them improve their governance and management.
4. Training program:
This program intended to help the individual micro and small enterprises owners acquire basic business management skills, critical for their growth. Many of the micro and small enterprises aren’t in position to afford exorbitant fees charged by business management consultants, neither can they participate in business management or growth seminars because of high cost associated with such events, this leaves them with very little options, and therefore our intervention together with our partners is not only timely but crucial.
5. Health program:
This program is PREMISED on the understanding that people can only do business, if they’re healthy, so it’s this realization that informed the creation of the health awareness campaigns programs for our members. These efforts are aimed at fighting common as well as emerging diseases such as;
6. Climate Change program:
This program is very critical in this age where climate issues have gained ascendancy and an unprecedented attention, due to the imminent environmental dangers brought about by unprecedented environmental pollution over a long period of time.
This campaign is aimed at creating awareness about climate change among our members who are mainly micro and small enterprises as well as helping them to align their activities with climate safe measures and approaches.
